Josh Davis

Joshua Davis, an innovative entrepreneur in southwest England's period property renovation sector, possesses a diverse range of interests encompassing history, travel, and motorsport. His profound passion for motorsport has granted him insights into the industry, having actively engaged as a devoted fan and diligent student. Over the course of attending numerous races and providing sponsorships to racing teams, Joshua has cultivated a vast network of industry connections, affording him a distinctive vantage point from which to discern the diverse challenges and opportunities confronted by different teams.

Drawing upon his astute business management and procurement expertise, Joshua has ventured into the realm of motorsport by establishing his very own racing team, aptly named JD Motorsport. This team competes in the fiercely competitive British superbikes' SuperSport category, with a steadfast determination to achieve noteworthy accomplishments in its inaugural year.

Team Manager

Dan Cooper

Dan Cooper, a seasoned team manager and professional road racer, boasts an illustrious career participating in diverse road racing competitions, most notably the esteemed Isle of Man TT races. His audacious riding technique and knack for delivering outstanding outcomes on demanding road circuits have garnered him widespread acclaim. Throughout his tenure, Dan has secured coveted podium placements and commendable top-ten positions across renowned events such as the British Superstock Championship, Ulster Grand Prix, North West 200, and the Isle of Man TT.

Looking ahead to 2024, Dan will assume the role of team manager, overseeing operations during race days.

Technical Manager

David Tilling

David Tilling possesses an extensive three-decade-long background in the realm of biking, with a notable 15-year tenure within the British Superbike Championship (BSB) paddock.

 Additionally, he has held the esteemed position of chief mechanic for various teams participating in the prestigious Isle of Man TT races.

Race TECHNICIAN

Brad Woodage

With motorbike mechanics in his blood, there's no place he'd rather be than tearing apart the JDM superbikes! Brad joins us after a number of years of successful race mechanic positions on other teams, now hoping to take his career to the next next and join us on our journey to the top!

Connor Clapton

Connor Clapton, an adept videographer and skilled MotorSport content creator will undertake the comprehensive documentation of the entire 2024 season.

PR/Communication

Carly Rathmell

Carly Rathmell is an accomplished professional, specialising in communication within the MotorSport industry. Carly will assume the responsibility for spearheading the PR and communication strategy at JD Motorsport.

Carter Brown

Prepare to be captivated by the extraordinary talent and determination of Carter, a remarkable racer who has already left his mark on the track at the tender age of 16. With an enviable track record, Carter has consistently dominated the paddock, securing top-three positions in the fiercely competitive BSB 2022. Furthermore, he showcased his prowess in the British Talent Cup, finishing his second season with a remarkable second consecutive 2nd place in the Championship.

Hailing from Somerset, England, Carter's journey in racing began at the age of five when he fearlessly mounted his KTM 50 mx bike. Even at such a young age, his innate talent shone through as he competed both nationally and internationally in the demanding sport of motocross. After seven successful years in multiple national MX championships, Carter made the transition to road racing, drawn to its close-knit community, professional atmosphere, and highly competitive nature. It didn't take long for him to make himself known, garnering attention from the media and fellow competitors alike. In the British Talent Cup 2022, he impressively clinched ten podium finishes, while in the 2021 edition, he secured eight podiums, including an impressive three wins.

In 2023, Carter fearlessly took on the European Stock 600 Championships, racing against top-tier competitors. His dynamic and ambitious personality propelled him to consistently achieve podium finishes, leaving spectators in awe of his skill and determination. With his sights now firmly set on the British SuperSport Championships in 2024, Carter's burning desire to succeed drives him to secure a victory that will firmly establish his place amongst the racing elite.
